Human impact

I recently went to Edmonds beach and lemme tell you there is a lot of human activity there. Edmonds beach is a beach in a well populated area with buildings jutting up next to it a train and a ferry running through it. Most noticeable was the people on the beach there was some trash kids playing in the rocky area and disturbing marine organisms and these people are just uneducated about the proper way to (sort of) tidepool in this case. Another impact could be pollution from cars, oils and copper because it is right near a big city and the ferry runs out of there. This isn't good for the animals especially invertebrates with permenable skin that can absorb toxins quicker then other animals. Since there has been a lot of cases of sea star wasting syndrome these new toxins could be weakening their immune system but scientist don't know for sure. There could be more trash cleanup parties to help and people to survey the animal every once in awhile and really see the damage done to them. Since this is near a city pollution of cars is inevetible but in the future there could be innovations of cars that make them less of a pollutant?
