Aquarium visit

I think I was at the Seattle Aquarium before, but I didn't really remember it, so for the purposes of the the question my answer is no. I really enjoyed my visit to the Seattle Aquarium, and it certainly felt like a good way to learn about marine life. It was exciting to see the marine organisms that I have been learning about in my textbook in real life, and the volunteers there were very helpful with the questions we had. I thought that the sea cucumbers were pretty interesting. One thing that I realized from the Aquarium visit that changed my perspective was realizing that some marine habitats are in danger. A question that naturally came out of that is wondering what is being done to help protect those habitats.

  1. I love the sea cucumbers! They're so cute and delicate, yet sturdy at the same time... kinda weird but I really enjoy observing them. They're kinda like sea stars only the softer chiller version of them. I also think that its awesome to observe these organisms in person and not just through the textbook pictures. It much more engaging and you're able to make an emotional bond to why they're so important or interesting.
