Aquarium
The Seattle aquarium has always been somewhere I have visited for as long as I can remember ever since I was young I would go there. Over the year it hasn't changed much but as per usual, there were various renovations, a viewing window, and sharks removed from the big tank to note a few. Something I actually did learn was the various ways tide pool animals like sea urchins and starfish eat because believe it or not I did look at the marine animal cards before this trip just goes to show you learn something new every time. In addition to that, it made me realize the role these marine animals play which I previously ignored.
As for the question, I think mine would be: What mechanism in salmon causes them to remember and viciously return to their spawning grounds without fail.
The Aquarium hasn't changed much, I agree. I did not realize they had removed the sharks from the underground tank (I think thats what you're talking about). I wonder why they would've done that. In like 20 years (maybe less, maybe more....very wild guess since I cannot recall exactly how many years) or somewhere in the future, the Seattle Aquarium is planning to expand and their plans are awesome! I know it a long time from now, but I'm excited for it and will visit as soon as it happens.
