Introduction: Dena Muething

Hi! My name is Diana Muething but I go by Dena.

I decided to take this course because i am interested in learning more about marine ecosystems and marine life has always intrigued me. I would like to learn more about marine life especially living in the Pacific Northwest. I am planning to major in Biology but I'm unsure of what career I want to pursue. Last summer I worked with the Prince William Sound Science Center in Cordova, Alaska for 2 weeks and I got to restore ecosytems and I worked with a lot of marine life there as the environment was mostly wetlands. My favorite marine organism would definitely be a dolphin because they're intelligent and interesting creatures. Something interesting about me would be that I am a running start student at Kamiak High School and I am a colorguard performer with the marching band and winterguard there. This picture is of me in front of Sheridan Glacier in Alaska and whats on my face is mud from the glacier because right after this picture we all gave eachother mud mask facials with the glacial mud.
