Introduction-Jack Mudge

Hi, my name is Jack Mudge, and I am a running start student at Kamiak High school. I am taking this course because i am interested in learning more about the life in the water we live so close to. I have always been interested in the water since i was little and i would love to learn what kind of life is in the Puget Sound since it is so close to us. I have always lived close to the water, but i feel like i do not know very much about what is actually going on in it. I don't really have a career goal in mind, but i think that i want to get a degree in science. I do not really have much any experience with marine systems, besides living next to the Puget Sound, but during the summer i went on a kayaking expedition across the San Juan islands, and we learned a little bit about what lived in the waters. My favorite marine animal would probably have to be sea turtles because of how cute they are. Something interesting about myself is that I am a Running Start student, so i am taking classes both at Edmonds and at my high school.
