Plankton Lab
Group: Riley, Daniel, and Justin.
Our plankton replica won the race! It was a simple design consisting of pins, corks, and clay. This design worked because the corks helped the plankton float, while the clay was used as a counter balance. If it sank, clay would be taken away. If it floated, more clay would be added until it was neutrally buoyant. Like our plankton replica, real plankton need to balance themselves out and stay neutrally buoyant and to survive. Those species that adapt to doing so will live to reproduce.

Thats so cool how you guys were the ones who were able to win the race! My group had so much trouble towards the end keeping it perfectly level. It seems like you guys had a simple, yet effective way of maintaing balance, and it worked out for you really well, good job!
