        I saw this sea star near the high tide zone, and it was clinging to a rock. The sea star is a consumer. One thing that was interesting to me was becoming more aware of sea star wasting syndrome. This was the thing that changed my perspective, having a better realization and understanding of the fact that marine organisms are vulnerable to disease. One question I have is what environmental factors contribute to sea star wasting syndrome?
