Edmonds Marsh Trip

This organism can be found all over the marsh growing in the fresh water. This organism's role in the marsh is large. It provides home and protection to much of the avian and mammalian life in the area as well as a cleansing root system in the water.
The most interesting thing I learned on this trip was the life of the marsh in general and how time and human impact has effected the marsh.
I now know more about these marshes and actually why they should be protected, especially in the Northwest.
