Edmonds Marsh
One organism that I saw in the marsh were two herons standing at the end of the marsh. I saw the organism standing along with a friend in what looked like grass or mud. The bird wasn't really doing much when i was observing it, it was just standing there still, but it wasn't there when i came back, so id assume that it flew away. I think that in the marsh, this bird can eat insects or other plants and animals to keep all the populations in control. The coolest thing that i saw in the trio was the marsh itself. I think it is so cool how there is a big marsh right behind a busy town and a strip mall. Something that changed my perspective was learning that most of the organisms in marshes were decomposes, i had just thought that they would be photosynthesizes, since there were so many grasses and plants there. One question that i have is how many different fishes live in these marshes? i couldn't tell how deep the water was, but it didn't seem very deep, so i wasn't sure how many fish could be there.
You reminded me of the amount of decomposers in marshes; this really changes my perspective when looking at any type of environment
