Easter Egg Experiment
The experiment I made was at home.
Predictions:
Results:
I wasn't very surprised of the results I got.
I was just unsure how to dose the salt in the salty water, compared to the one in seawater.
I did a basic experiment without the color for guessing as you guys did in class, because I made it by myself so it wouldn't have made sense to do it the same way.
So, as I did this experiment at home, I decided to:
Predictions:
- If an egg is placed in salty water, the egg will float.
- If the egg is placed in sea water, the egg will also float.
- If the egg is placed in pure water, the egg will sink.
Results:
- The egg that I placed in salty water floated.
- The egg that I placed in sea water, the egg also floated (sea water from Edmond Beach).
- The egg that I placed in pure water indeed sank.

So, as I did this experiment at home, I decided to:
- Use the same recipient for all three experiments, which was a tall transparent glass.
- For the salty water, I placed all of table salt.
- For the seawater, I brought some water from Edmond Beach.
pure water with added table salt.
