Human Impacts
I visited the Mukilteo Lighthouse beach. Birds were very dominant in the environment and I didn't see much else. Two human impacts on the marine ecosystem would sound pollution ( train, cars, people) and litter. One of the visible effects of the human impact was seeing litter on the beach. Possible effects due to the human impact would be some organisms staying away from the beach due to sound pollution, and also the litter getting in the water, harming marine organisms. If humans continue to litter, eventually the litter will make its way into the sea, where marine organisms will mistake it for food and die. A few things that could be done in terms of litter problem is that public service announce could be created and also there could signs on picnic tables and nearby restaurants warning people about the dangers of littering.
