Emma and Dena's Plankton!

Our plankton consisted of wire, clay, styrofoam, a fuzzy ball thing,a cork and safety pins. Originally we wanted to make a cylindrical looking plankton as thats what some of the plankton looked like that we had observed. But after our initial cylinder we decided we needed more weight and attached the wooden sticks with the clay. This worked out well but ended up sinking. We realized after the race that taking off a small portion of clay allowed it to stay afloat in the middle for a longer period of time. But, our plankton did end up sinking in the great plankton race unfortunately.
