Hello everyone!
My name is Emma, I’m 21 years old. I am an international student from France. I’ve been studying in EDCC for almost three years. I will graduate at the end of this quarter, and get my A.A in business. I plan on going back to my country to pursue in a school of international luxury marketing. As I had one last class in the category of Natural Science to attend, I decided to register for this class of Marine Biology. Indeed, I’ve studied sciences and biology back in high school in France, and I thought it would be interesting to focus on the marine environment. I’ve covered the subject very globally in some previous classes as environmental science, geology, and geography, but I think this class will make us learn some more details. I’ve always been very curious concerning the seas and the oceans. I love scuba-diving, and that feeling of being underwater. The feeling of exploring the surface of another life is incredible. I don’t especially have a favorite marine organism. I think the whole environment is beautiful and complete. I might choose the dolphin, as it is the first marine animal I was very interested about as a child.
I’ve experienced scuba-diving in some places, and my favorite place so far is the Natural Reserve of Scandola, in Corsica (a wonderful island in the South of France, in the Mediterranean sea). I live in the NorthWest of France, in a town called Nantes in the region of Brittany. I’ve always lived by the sea, and as bizarre as it sounds, I feel claustrophobic when I stay too long in a place which is not nearby the sea or the ocean.
