Introduction: Joe Bazaldua

Hello all my name is Joe and this will be my second year here at Edmonds community college. I'm taking this class because I have and interest in marine biology as a potential career path and wanted to explore it more. Currently my major is in environmental science however I'm hoping that this class can help narrow down my choices as far as deciding on career goals goes. To be honest I have no experience with marine systems however I hope this course can give me some though our lectures labs and trips. My favorite marine organism has always been the killer whale ever since I was little and after seeing one probably sparked my interest of the ocean. As for something intteresting there is not much however I do love going on hikes (perfect for here) and I enjoy viewing romance media with my wife.
