Purple Sea Star

Morning Sun Star

After I got home from this field trip I quickly realized I didn't take very many good pictures of organisms... which was silly considering we had them all out to look at.
But as usual sea stars are some of my favorites, and of course I got a couple pictures of those. I had never actually seen a morning sun star, or a nudibranch, or a sea cucumber... actually most of the organisms we saw at shannon point I hadnt seen at the beach before. It would have been interesting to be able to compare what they found last year and what we were able to find on the vessel, and also on the shoreline.
